Students enroll in this course and pass the test. Earn up to 6.0 credit hours after passing the exam. Receive your CE score and certification at a nominal cost.

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

Recognize when there is a victim of cardiac arrest.
Identify when a person may be choking.
Assess the scene for responder safety.
React immediately by activating emergency response systems – call 9-1-1.
Begin chest compressions on unconscious adults, child or infant in cardiac arrest.
Follow depth of chest compression and rescue breath guidelines while responding.
Assist individuals who need assistance in basic first aid emergencies.
Use an AED device following standardized guidelines.
