Terms of Service



These Terms and Conditions of Use (the "Terms of Use") apply to the American Health Care Academy Web site located at www.CPRAEDCourse.com, and all associated sites linked to www.CPRAEDcourse.com by American Health Care Academy, its subsidiaries and affiliates, including American Health Care Academy sites around the world (collectively, the "Site"). The Site is the property of CPRAEDCourse.com. ("American Health Care Academy") and its licensors. BY USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE; IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SITE.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing with American Health Care Academy, your agreement with American Health Care Academy will at minimum always include the terms and conditions laid out in this document.

American Health Care Academy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms of Use, at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of Use periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes. As long as you comply with these Terms of Use, American Health Care Academy grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and use the Site.

Registering with American Health Care Academy

In order to use the American Health Care Academy's services, you must first agree to the Terms of this document. You may not use the services if you do not accept the Terms. You will be required to accept the terms by:

Language of the Terms

By agreeing to the terms, you agree that the English language version of the Terms will govern your relationship with American Health Care Academy. The English language version of the Terms will always take precedence, over any other translation. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflicts of law rules.

The materials on this site are provided "as is" and without any representation, warranty or guaranty of any kind; expressed or implied

Collected Information

We require people who register to use a CPRAEDCOURSE online application (the "Services") to give us contact information. Depending on the services chosen, we ask for contact and account information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, e-mail address, password and the number of users in the organization who will be using the Services, in addition to financial and billing information, such as billing name, address and credit card number. When you express interest in additional information, when you register for the Services, or after you become a user, we may ask for additional personal information, such as title, department name, fax number or additional company information, such as annual revenues, number of employees or industry. You can opt out of providing additional information by not entering it when asked.

CPRAEDCOURSE does not distribute or share customer e-mail addresses, except as noted in its Terms of Service, or as may be required by law.


CPRAEDCOURSE uses the information we collect to set up the Services for individuals and their organizations. We may also use the information to contact customers and prospects to further discuss their interest in our company, the Services we provide and ways we can improve them, and to send information such as announcements of promotions and events regarding our company or partners. We may also e-mail a customer newsletter and updates about the Services or the company. You can opt out of receiving these communications by replying to them at the time they are distributed or at any time by e-mailing info@cpraedcourse.com.

All financial and billing information that we collect through a CPRAEDCOURSE Web site and the Services is used solely to bill for the Services. CPRAEDCOURSE does not use this billing information for marketing or promotional purposes. Except as we explicitly state at the time we request information, or as provided for in the CPRAEDCOURSE Terms of Service, we do not disclose to any third party the information provided.

CPRAEDCOURSE uses a third-party intermediary to manage credit card processing. This intermediary is solely a link in the distribution chain and is not permitted to store, retain, or use the information provided, except for the sole purpose of credit card processing.

Other third parties, such as content providers, may provide information on a CPRAEDCOURSE Web site, but they are not permitted to collect any information, nor does CPRAEDCOURSE share any personally identifiable user information with these parties.

CPRAEDCOURSE customers use CPRAEDCOURSE online applications to host data and information. CPRAEDCOURSE will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such data except as provided in the CPRAEDCOURSE Terms of Service, or as may be required by law. We will view or access individual records only with your permission (for example, to resolve a problem or support issue). Of course, users of the Services are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration and passwords.

CPRAEDCOURSE may also collect certain information from visitors to a CPRAEDCOURSE Web site and customers of the Services, such as Internet addresses. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems and to administer the CPRAEDCOURSE Web site and Services in order to constantly improve quality. We may also track and analyze non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical information from visitors and customers and provide such information to third parties.

Practice Services

Students enrolled in our CPR/First Aid classes will be able to re-read and review all training material and contact us with any further questions.

Certificate

The actual certificate as printed may vary from the image displayed on this website. The purpose of the wallet card is to verify that you have certified with American Health Care Academy under the course curriculum that was developed by our instructors. To the knowledge of our instructors, you trained in CPR. However, our certification does not guarantee that the student is "qualified" to perform adult, child, infant CPR/AED. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that our certificate fulfills their requirements as requested by an employer/institution or state.

No Legal Advice

Any legal questions should be referred to an attorney. Good Samaritan laws may be provide protection if CPR is conducted in good faith; please contact your state for further advice.

No Reliance

You should rely only on the information that is provided to you by our curriculum. If a person does not seek medical, CPR assistance please do not administer CPR on them. Minors, aged under 16 years, are not permitted to take this course.

Liability Limitation

The course material and curriculum portrayed on this site is compiled by our instructors from previous classes and texts that are widely available. American Health Care Academy has worked to display material that is accurate, all in good faith. American Health Care Academy will not be held liable for any losses or damages of any kind.

Lifetime Certification Promotion

The lifetime certification program is a promotion offered by CPRAEDCourse.com for those customers who wish to obtain recertification for the lifetime course(s) he/she chooses. The lifetime program does not include a free wallet certification or wall certificate. This program is only valid for online recertification, which includes an instant, downloadable PDF certification card. The hardcopy wallet certification card can be purchased at the time of recertification for an additional cost; cost of card may vary. CPRAEDCourse.com can discontinue this program at any time.

When returning to the Web site, students are required to log in using the same account they used to purchase the lifetime module 2 years prior. CPRAEDCourse.com is not required to keep the customer's account information on file.

REFUND

If you are not satisfied with the content that we have available within our courses, it is your responsibility to stop using our website. We cannot refund you for a course that you have already completed. Once you pass the quiz and are able to print your wallet card, we will not offer any refunds. We will provide refunds if your employer / institution does not accept our online course, and if this denial can be confirmed.

If American Health Care Academy certification does not comply with the your requirements American Health Care Academy will issue a full refund. You will need to email American Health Care Academy at info@cpraedcourse.com within 30 days of course payment. Once the student has paid for the course he/she will have full access to the course content and will be able to determine if it fulfills his/her requirements. In the email please include: your full name, mailing address, email address, name of the rejecting company, phone number for rejecting company, email for rejecting company, and reason refund requested.

You will have unlimited course access for 60 days. If you do not complete the course quiz within the first 60 days, please call to have the quiz unlocked. A fee of $9.99 (individual course) or a fee of $14.99 (combo course) will be applied to unlock the quiz after 60 days.
