How long will it take to receive my wallet certification card?
Immediately after passing the test, you will be able to print your wallet certification card. We will also mail out an original card the following business day. You should receive the hard copy in mail within 4-5 business days. There is no additional fee for the wallet card.

What if I don't pass the quiz at the end of the course?
The final quiz can be taken as many times as needed to pass. Remember that all the true/false and multiple-choice questions are pulled from the course material, so you can re-review the curriculum if you don’t pass the first time. There are no additional fees or charges for reattempting the quiz.

How long is your course(s)? Do I have to finish it all in one sitting?
Our course is designed to let you work at your own pace. The average completion time for our course is 1 to 3 hours. The course does not have to be completed all in one sitting. You can log out and log back into the course at anytime. You will also have unlimited access to the course material for 60 days from the date of purchase.

Does your course require an outside hands-on test?
No. Our interactive training includes step-by-step video demonstrations that allow you to practice along at your own pace and detailed illustrations. This training method will cover and build the skills required to perform CPR. You will be certified upon successfully completing our comprehensive online quiz.

How much do your courses cost?
Our CPR and First Aid courses each cost $19.95. This includes repeated access to all the study material. Each package also allows you to take the quiz as many times as needed and will allow you to immediately print the wallet certification card after passing the assessment. A hard copy of the wallet card will also be mailed to you.

What happens once I've taken the American Health Care Academy' online course?
After you pass the quiz, you will immediately be able to print out your wallet certification card and will also receive it via mail. After passing, you are certified, for 2 years from issue date, to confidently act in an emergency situation.

How long are your courses good for?
Our CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are valid for 2 years from the “date of issue” of your wallet certification card.

Is your certification accepted by my state?
Certification requirements can be different for various states, institutions and employers. Our instructors are trained by American Red Cross and American Heart Association so our curriculum follows their guidelines and we are widely-accepted. However, American Health Care Academy suggests that you check your applicable organization/institution to ensure that our course(s) fulfill your specific requirements.

What are my choices for a method of payment?
Our automated secured system is designed to accept credit and debit cards. The credit and debit card information provided is not stored in our system. The information travels through a secured channel and our gateway to our merchant service bank account. We do not accept personal checks or money orders, unless it involves a lump sum group payment.

How are your instructors trained?
Our instructors are trained by American Red Cross and American Health Association. They develop the course curriculum, quiz and the material presented in the video demonstrations. Our instructors are also available for any questions or further clarification about the classes.

How do I print my certification once I have passed?
Once you pass our online CPR certification or First Aid course you should be able to print your certification right away. However, if you come back at a later time to print your certification, you will first need to login using your user name and password at www.cpraedcourse.com login. Click on the course you would like to print your certification for. Then scroll down and click on the quiz topic for that course. Once in the quiz you will see Print Certification written in big blue letters. Click to print.

What is an AED?
AED stands for automated external defibrillator. An AED is a small electronic portable device, which automatically diagnoses and treats life-threatening ventricular fibrillation or quivering of the heart. With the use of an AED, the heart is able to re-establish a normal, effective heart rhythm. In our CPR/AED certification course you will watch a video that explains the basics of an AED device.
